Default Cds don't work!!

I decided to go through some older Dreamnet Lady CDs today. I put Jackie's, Holly's, Lindsey's, and Elli's (Vol. 2) (I said "older CDs", remember?) and none of them work! I get a quick flash of the IE screen then nothing. Are the older CDs not compatible with IE8 or Windows Vista? How can I travel down Memory Lane with these ladies again?

Are you sure it's not the player? I had two go out in less than 30 days. Worked one minute and not the next.

Not the player. All of my other CDs work. The Dreamnet CDs work on another computer running Windows XP, too.

try running a head cleaner disc thru the player and then give it a blast of compressed air. I had major trouble with one machine that I went overboard digging into just to find out that it was full of dust bunnies.

you can also try putting the files onto a thumbdrive with the older machine and see if the files will display on the new OS machine. My oldest thumbdrive holds 2 gigs. The newer ones are hold 8 and 12 gigs. Thats a bunch of CD's worth of material. My first laptop computer had a 2 gig hard drive! Now you can get larger camera memory cards.

I sounds like the CD's are working but IE8 is puking on the Java Script start up. If you actually put the CD in and go through Windows Explorer to browse the CD you can find the cd "homepage".

For example on the Elli 2 CD open the file \main\main.html and that will bypass you beyond the Java Script.

Hope this helps.
