Default Super Bowl roman numerals

Surprised to not see any threads about the game on here. Where did all the football fans go?? Anybody watch it this year? Thoughts on the game, anyone?

Hey Stretch, why do you suppose they use roman numerals to designate Super Bowls instead of speaking in english? I mean this is America isn't it?

That's a silly question or two. Didn't they teach you anything about America in history class? We're southern North America.
