The man who just gave a gracious concession speech is the man who I thought would have made a great President nine years ago. I'm sorry that the politics of our time turned John McCain into someone that I no longer recognized or could support.
But I had a tear in my eye as he gave that speech. And I'm happy that this (honorable) John McCain returned and gave perhaps his last great speech to the American people.
Hopefully Obama does more good than harm. But no matter what, it's up to the people, not the ones who we think of as leaders to make this a better nation.
