I used to watch it when I was up north in Wisconsin and Michigan. I am too far south to see much of it now.

I saw one really good one and a couple of little ones before the skeeters drove me back inside. :Shitstorm:
I didn't get hit by any though.

I love watching them. We tried to see it last night, but it was too bright where we are.

It was spectacular up north. At one point about ever 30 seconds you saw one. Beautiful!! (This far north of Toronto though I have been in luck on occasion to witness the Northern Lights as well)

We were at the airport last night taking time lapse photos of the planes landing, and I saw two shooting stars and he saw one. They were very bright, too! So cool!

I went outside at peek hours ... stood in the driveway looking up ... and saw two in about 2 minutes - one really bright one.

It's less fun when you have no one there to watch with ... it's like fishing in that way.

They are uber cool, but they're Clark's to share. I'll ask if he wants to post a few.

The Perseids are this time next year, but there are showers through the year as the earth passes through comet dust.

The less moonlight the better ... so none of the remaining will be AS spectacular, but it's the relaxing and watching that's the fun part :smile01:
